Northglenn has 23 unique neighborhood Parks, located throughout the community with a variety of amenities form
basketball courts to picnic shelters to fishing. For example, Northwest Open Space Recreation area, located south of 112th and Pecos,
is the hub of youth sports with several multi-use athletic fields. E. B. Rain Park, across from the Northglenn municipal complex on Community
Center Drive, is a highly used park with picnic shelters, a beautiful lake, a large playground, basketball courts, and a sand volleyball court
.Over 20 miles of Greenway Trails connect the city for walking, running, in-line skating, strolling, and bicycling. Did you know that you can
begin at the Northglenn/Westminster city limits and travel east all the way to E. B. Rains Park via the Farmers' Highline Canal trail
The City of Northglenn is sponsoring the holiday outdoor lighting display program every
year. Individuals, families, friends, clubs or groups are encouraged to participate. You can use your creativity and artistic talents to
decorate an area for the outdoor holiday season display. The person or party adopting the area will design their display, provide all the
supplies, and put up and take down the display
The Northglenn Municipal Court was established by City Charter to have jurisdiction on all cases arising under the
provisions of City Charter and municipal ordinances, and subject to appeal to the Adams County Court. The municipal court may enforce its orders
and judgments in a manner as a Court of Record and as provided by general law. The City has the authority, through its municipal court, to
punish violations of its ordinances by fine and/or imprisonment.
